The candle is blended with clary sage, which can help induce labour naturally and enhance contractions once labour has begun.

Whilst we don’t recommend lighting the Birth candle until you are full term, the clary sage concentration level is gentle enough that it won’t induce labour if the body isn’t ready.

We hand make our candles to the highest possible standard, each candle receives full care and is not the product of a production line. On occasions the essential oil residue may appear darker than the wax. 

Because we use essential oils, the strength of the scent will not be as strong as candles that contain synthetic fragrances.

Our candles create a background aroma and wont be overpowering for someone who is pregnant with heighted smell or for new born babies.
